The Child Care Center Assistant Teacher role is onsite in Avon, NY. Compensation is $16–$16.50 per hour. Kids Club Child Care Center of Livingston County serves the Avon community with childcare programs and a supportive environment for children. The assistant teacher supports lead teachers and helps provide a safe, engaging classroom where children can play, learn, and develop socially, emotionally, and physically. The role also supports communication with families and daily classroom routines.

What you'll do

• Assist lead teachers with daily lesson plans and activities
• supervise and engage children in play and educational activities
• provide a safe and nurturing environment
• support children’s social, emotional, and physical development
• communicate with parents and guardians about progress
• maintain a clean classroom
• participate in staff meetings and professional development
• help prepare and clean up meals and snacks.
