What you'll do

• Perform cardiac ultrasound examinations as ordered using complex ultrasound equipment
• identify the presence or absence of disease using knowledge of anatomy and physiology
• assist physicians with transesophageal echo, trans-catheter echo-guided procedures, pericardiocentesis, myocardial biopsies, contrast-enhanced exams, and stress echocardiography
• modify procedures for special circumstances or useful clinical information
• comply with American Society of Echocardiography standards and departmental policies
• share emergency stand-by and call-back studies during evenings and weekends.
