Senior Employment Law Attorney

The Senior Employment Law Attorney role is hybrid and may be based in San Jose, Pleasanton, or San Mateo, CA; travel between offices may be necessary. Compensation is $225,000–$275,000 per year. The attorney supports the firm’s employment law practice, representing employers across a diverse client base. The role manages complex employment litigation from inception through resolution, provides preventive workplace counseling, and helps grow the practice. It also leads case strategy and supervises junior associates while serving clients’ employment law needs.

What you'll do

• Defend employers in FEHA and Title VII matters, wage-and-hour disputes, and PAGA class actions in state and federal courts
• manage cases from inception through resolution, including discovery and law and motion
• appear before agencies including the EEOC, CRD, and DLSE
• counsel clients on workforce management, HR policies, and California employment-law compliance
• service existing clients and develop a portable book of business
• lead case strategy and supervise and mentor junior associates.
