Computer Field Technician

Job overview

The Computer Field Technician role involves onsite hardware service at customer locations in Columbus, OH and the technician’s territory. The technician repairs and installs laptop and desktop hardware at residential and commercial customer sites. The role includes managing daily service calls, confirming service times, collecting and returning parts, and documenting calls through a technician portal.

What you'll do

• Repair and install laptop and desktop hardware
• complete assigned service calls at customer sites
• log into the technician portal by 9 a.m. on working days to code calls and plan routes
• confirm service times with customers
• pick up parts from assigned shipping locations and return replaced parts
• maintain reliable transportation and travel locally between sites.
