Senior Civil/Structural Engineer, hybrid, Boston, MA. Pay Range $73,450.00 - $132,775.00. This role supports the development of bid/construction packages for substation projects, performing design reviews of civil/structural design components.

What you'll do

• Performing design reviews of steel structures, concrete structures, geotechnical engineering, and foundations.
• Reviewing substation structure design, rigid bus design, foundation design, oil spill containment design, retaining walls, masonry control shelters, and firewalls.
• Performing design reviews of the aforementioned civil/structural design components in support of the development of bid/construction packages for substation projects.
• Primarily functioning as a senior engineer leading projects, performing design reviews, as well as developing junior staff members.
• Site-visits to client substation facilities are expected to be part of the work, along with occasional travel for client meetings and industry-related events.
• Complying with quality control and safe work practices and maintaining compliance with project scope, schedule and budget expectations.
