Production Intern

Job overview

The Production Intern role is onsite at locations in Hamilton, Sedro-Woolley, and Bellingham, WA. Pay is $24 per hour, plus a discretionary bonus. Janicki Industries designs and builds structures, tooling, and systems for aerospace, space, defense, marine, and architecture industries. The intern applies engineering fundamentals to technical problems and may manage small projects from preliminary design through engineering, manufacturing, assembly, and commissioning. Assignments depend on the department, team, and project, and may include practical work in a production or manufacturing setting.

What you'll do

• Apply basic engineering principles to technical problems with a team of engineers
• manage small projects through design, engineering, manufacturing, assembly, and commissioning
• complete assignments from an assigned mentor
• communicate effectively and work collaboratively across disciplines
• maintain organization and attendance
• perform other duties as assigned.
