Vice President, Tax

The Vice President, Tax role is onsite in Englewood, CO. Compensation is $200,000–$300,000 per year. EchoStar’s business spans satellite television, streaming, smart-home installation, and mobile services. Reporting to the Head of Tax, this executive sets enterprise tax strategy and governance, advises senior leadership and the Board, and guides tax considerations for long-range planning, capital strategy, and transactions while managing risk across the company’s global tax function.

What you'll do

• Advise the CFO and executive leadership on enterprise strategy, capital structure, and long-range planning
• define and oversee global tax strategy
• assess tax legislation and regulatory changes
• lead tax strategy for mergers, acquisitions, divestitures, joint ventures, and reorganizations
• partner with Corporate Development, Legal, Finance, and external advisors on transaction structures
• advise executives and the Board
• lead and develop senior tax leaders
• establish governance and oversight models
• provide tax insights to the Audit Committee and Board.
