Business Development Associate

Job overview

The Business Development Associate role is onsite five days a week in Houston, TX, with a base salary range of $60,000–$69,000 per year. Weee! is an ethnic e-grocer that partners with local suppliers to expand access to ethnic foods. The associate grows regional marketplace sales and revenue by recruiting local food providers, developing vendor relationships, and supporting their onboarding. The role also works across business development, marketing, technology, product, customer service, and local operations to improve the marketplace and vendor experience.

What you'll do

• Research and build relationships with local restaurants and bakeries
• recruit and onboard local food providers
• drive regional gross merchandise value growth
• identify business challenges and strategies to expand vendor partnerships and revenue
• collaborate on promotions and operational improvements
• guide vendors on accurate product listings
• relay vendor feedback to business development, technology, product, and customer service teams
• partner with marketing on promotional content and with local operations on daily activities.
