CNC Machinist – Night Shift

The CNC Machinist – Night Shift role is onsite in Ashland, KY. Compensation is $30–$34 per hour. The position is at a heavy industrial service center that repairs and refurbishes steel mill equipment for steel producers across North America. The machinist operates CNC equipment, primarily large-format turning machinery, to machine and refurbish heavy steel components to print specifications. The role sets up tooling, runs programs prepared by the programming team, adjusts offsets and feeds or speeds, monitors cut quality, and inspects finished parts against engineering drawings.

• understand programs and identify issues before they result in scrap.

Why this role

Night shift with standard eight-hour shifts that may extend to 12 hours during high production volume. Mandatory overtime follows the production schedule and may include weekends. Vertical Turret Lathe experience is a top priority; light G-code reading is helpful but not required.
