Medical Coordinator

The role organizes appointments and clinical preparation, assists with medication and insurance coordination, supports patient communication and documentation, and contributes to compliance and quality improvement.

What you'll do

• Support mid-level and physician-level providers
• maintain provider schedules and coordinate appointment changes
• provide medication education groups and staff training on basic medical conditions and situations
• prepare visit materials and examination rooms
• assist with clinical documentation and follow-up
• complete prior authorizations and coordinate with insurers
• administer injections under provider supervision
• support medication reconciliation, prescriptions, and pharmacy coordination
• liaise with patients, families, providers, and clinical staff
• maintain records and support HIPAA compliance, quality improvement, and regulatory requirements.
