The Certified Medical Assistant – High-Volume Integrated Practice role is onsite in Hyattsville, MD, with compensation of $20–$24 per hour. Your Wellness Sources is a multidisciplinary outpatient practice providing primary care, behavioral health, nutrition, and ancillary services. The certified medical assistant supports clinical care and patient flow by preparing patients, performing clinical procedures, maintaining accurate records, coordinating referrals and labs, and communicating with the multidisciplinary team.

What you'll do

• Room and prepare more than 20 patients daily
• obtain and document vitals and histories
• perform venipuncture, injections, and EKGs
• assist with Pap smears and procedures
• maintain infection control and OSHA standards
• stock exam rooms and complete logs
• prepare charts
• triage calls and portal messages in AthenaOne
• coordinate referrals, labs, and refills
• support scheduling and patient flow
• maintain accurate EHR documentation and HIPAA compliance.

Why this role
