The Systems Security Administrator II — IT Operations role is hybrid in Fort Worth, TX, with three days per week at the corporate office after successfully completing six months in the role. Compensation is not specified. The position supports EECU’s technology environment and member service delivery. The role administers and monitors cybersecurity controls to protect technology availability and integrity. It works with Information Security, infrastructure and application administrators, vendors, and business stakeholders to identify risks, remediate vulnerabilities, and support reliable operations.

What you'll do

• Monitor security platforms and review alerts, logs, and unusual activity
• investigate and document security events and escalate potential incidents
• conduct vulnerability scans and coordinate remediation
• plan, test, deploy, validate, and document updates
• monitor patch compliance
• support secure configurations and hardening
• administer endpoint protection, authentication, access controls, directory services, privileged access, VPN, and firewall controls
• support audits and risk assessments
• maintain security documentation, inventories, procedures, dashboards, and metrics.
