Client Advocate

The Client Advocate role is onsite in Pleasanton, CA, with compensation of $90,000–$115,000 per year, plus equity. Aardvark Tax Advisors serves small businesses and entrepreneurs, using Cynch AI technology to reduce routine work and support higher-value client service. This role owns the client experience for an assigned group, guiding clients through tax and accounting engagements, resolving service issues, and keeping work moving. It also brings client feedback to internal teams and supports consistent service delivery.

What you'll do

• Manage an assigned client list as an escalated point of contact
• lead onboarding and regular check-ins
• gather and relay client feedback
• resolve Level 1 escalations, disputes, and difficult conversations
• identify recurring service issues
• keep Intake and Delivery pipelines moving
• explain tax and accounting concepts with technical teams
• update clients on returns, projects, financial statements, and deadlines
• generate invoices, process payments, assemble returns, delegate tasks, train administrative assistants, cover team absences, and serve as a local contact for routine office operations.
