The Mid-Level Platform Engineer (Kubernetes) role is onsite in San Francisco, CA. Pay is $180,000–$210,000 per year. Clera’s early-stage AI infrastructure team is building tools to simplify deployment and operation of production Kubernetes environments. The engineer builds platform capabilities that help developers manage workloads across multiple clusters. Work on automation, infrastructure as code, observability, storage, and networking supports reliable production environments and reduces operational work for developers.

What you'll do

• Build platform features in Go, including Kubernetes operators and controllers.
• Design GitOps workflows with ArgoCD and infrastructure-as-code patterns with Terraform and Helm.
• Work on distributed storage using Ceph and WEKA, observability with Prometheus and Grafana, and container networking with Cilium.
• Design federated multi-cluster Kubernetes architectures and build automation to reduce operational work.
