On-Call Substitute Teacher

What you'll do

• Teach academic areas using provided lesson plans
• supervise students in classrooms, cafeterias, and/or on the blacktop as needed
• take reasonable precautions to protect students and school property
• follow school safety expectations
• report injuries, accidents, illnesses, and discipline problems
• return instructional materials, equipment, and keys to their proper place.

Why this role

A bachelor’s degree and a valid California Teaching Credential or Emergency 30-Day Substitute Teaching Permit are required. Substitute or classroom teaching experience is preferred. Assignments may be accepted at will; the school prefers availability for at least 2–3 assignments per month.
