What you'll do

• Own period-close accounting, reconciliations, and financial reporting
• monitor premium trust and operating accounts
• review payment instructions and execute carrier remittances
• validate commission releases
• coordinate outsourced bookkeeping
• implement agency-management accounting workflows
• reconcile parallel systems
• review financial statements and receivables/payables
• investigate transaction discrepancies
• maintain fiduciary records and prepare applicable surplus-lines filings.
