Veterinary Technician

What you'll do

• Restrain patients using low-stress handling
• triage incoming veterinary patients
• collect and process laboratory samples
• obtain medical histories and maintain records
• assist with diagnostic imaging
• provide nursing care
• administer medications as directed
• prepare patients for surgery and assist with procedures
• monitor anesthesia and recovery
• and communicate treatment plans and care instructions to clients.
