Material Planning Specialist

The Material Planning Specialist role is onsite in Ellabell, GA; compensation is not specified. The position supports MOBIS North America Electrified Powertrain, LLC, including its establishment and new projects. The role coordinates purchasing, inventory, customs clearance, and logistics so materials are available when needed at the right cost and quality. It works across suppliers and internal teams to maintain accurate material records, support production, and improve supply-chain processes.

What you'll do

• Coordinate supplier purchasing and monitor material requirements, shortages, purchase orders, inventory, and SAP records
• support trial builds and engineering changes
• coordinate customs clearance, import documentation, duties, and brokers
• plan logistics routes, costs, layouts, and equipment
• coordinate inbound and in-house logistics
• monitor stock levels, FIFO practices, cycle counts, and material movement
• prepare logistics and inventory reports
• collaborate with production control, logistics, quality control, procurement, development, suppliers, and Korean headquarters.

Why this role

High school diploma or GED required; 0–2 years of related experience required. Excel proficiency and ability to learn ERP systems such as SAP are required; related degree and SAP, MRP, or logistics experience are preferred.
