Home Care Placement’s All Abilities service line provides local support to people with intellectual and developmental disabilities and their families. The caregiver provides personalized, nonmedical in-home support under individualized care plans, assists with daily routines and activities, and offers respite to family caregivers. Accurate notes and collaboration with families and facilitators help maintain consistent, safe support.

What you'll do

• Assist with bathing, grooming, dressing, feeding, and toileting
• provide respite support
• help with routines, hygiene, homework, and coping strategies
• accompany clients on community outings and social activities
• follow behavioral strategies and care plans
• provide companionship and supervision
• assist with light housekeeping and meal preparation
• and document shifts and progress.
