What you'll do

• Respond to shelter calls and inquiries
• receive prospective clients and determine eligibility
• admit and exit clients using established procedures
• assess independent-living and advocacy needs
• develop plans addressing budgeting, life skills, housing, employment, income, and goals
• continue safety planning
• coordinate community resources and referrals
• document assessments, case notes, service plans, and related records
• follow up with clients and close files after exit
• enter program data
• manage daily shelter requirements and safety
• refer clients to outreach services when appropriate
• attend required domestic violence training.
