What you'll do

• Start up and operate production machinery
• respond to production-line maintenance calls
• participate in facility and preventive-maintenance programs
• troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, plumbing, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems
• diagnose problems and identify root causes
• maintain machines, pumps, motors, and facility equipment
• rebuild cylinders, valves, pumps, and assemblies and fabricate parts for emergency breakdowns
• complete work orders
• inventory spare parts and report usage
• perform basic facility repairs
• maintain tools and work areas
• follow safety procedures and training.
