The Captain - Basic Readiness Standard (BRS) is an onsite role based in Mercury, NV, with an hourly pay range of $49.75 to $79.60. This position supports Mission Support and Test Services (MSTS) at the Nevada National Security Site. This role exists to oversee uniformed personnel who are Basic Readiness Qualified. The captain provides direct oversight into the BRS program, ensuring compliance with management, training, and equipment requirements, and serves as a tactical support officer and shift supervisor.

What you'll do

• Oversee uniformed personnel in the BRS program.
• Provide direct oversight into BRS program management, training, and equipment.
• Serve as tactical support officer and shift supervisor.
• Monitor policies and procedures to ensure compliance.
• Supervise individual contributors and conduct performance evaluations.
• Direct daily activities of Lieutenants and Security Police Officers.
• Provide command and control of security forces.
• Manage work schedules.
• Implement management self-assessment programs.
• Direct all phases of the training cycle.
