The Patient Financial Services Specialist — Marathon role is onsite in Miami, FL, paying $18–$22.50 per hour. The position supports Community Health of South Florida by processing billing and encounter forms and coordinating documents between patient-care areas and data processing.

What you'll do

• Register new clients and research existing records
• renew or update client profiles
• conduct financial screening and attempt collection of past-due balances when clients request services
• check clients in and out
• process payments, balance daily batches, submit journals and cash records, and provide statistical data
• verify insurance coverage
• complete billing and encounter forms
• train new employees on patient-services functions
• maintain confidentiality and follow HIPAA policies. Current American Heart Association CPR certification is required.
