Hospital Security Officer — Clinical Setting

The Hospital Security Officer role is onsite at a hospital in Wexford, PA. Pay is $17.00 per hour. Allied Universal provides security and facility services, and this position safeguards a healthcare customer’s premises, staff, members, and visitors. The officer monitors the facility, patrols for safety and security concerns, responds to incidents, and provides professional customer service. The role may also include patient escort or watch, assisting nursing staff with restraints after training, or transporting deceased patients to the morgue.

What you'll do

• Observe and report signs of crime, disorder, hazards, and unusual activity
• patrol the facility
• de-escalate individuals as needed
• inspect security devices and fire-control equipment
• screen visitors and employees
• respond to emergencies
• patient escort, patient watch, safety escort, restraint assistance, or morgue transport may be included as assigned.
