What you'll do

  • Provide direct care and support to adults with developmental disabilities
  • assist with personal hygiene, meal preparation, medication administration, and daily living activities
  • encourage social, recreational, and vocational participation
  • teach life skills
  • observe and document progress, behaviors, incidents, and health or behavior changes
  • collaborate with colleagues, families, guardians, and external providers
  • follow agency policies and health and safety guidelines.
