What you'll do

• Diagnose psychiatric illnesses and develop individualized treatment plans
• prescribe and manage psychotropic medications
• provide psychotherapy and psychiatric evaluations
• determine appropriate levels of care
• obtain medical histories and interpret diagnostic testing
• collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and referring providers
• maintain timely clinical documentation and records
• participate in treatment planning and insurance peer reviews
• participate in the physician weekend call rotation, typically about five weekends per year.
