Job overview
Compensation is $17–$20 per hour. The Registered Nurse — Dialysis role is onsite in Jackson, MS. The nurse supports dialysis care at the medical center and consults with physicians and nursing staff regarding patient care. The role assesses dialysis needs, provides and monitors dialysis treatment, and supports safe operation of dialysis equipment. It also contributes to staff development, interdisciplinary care, and improvement efforts within the medical center.
What you'll do
- Assess patients for dialysis needs
- provide safe and effective dialysis
- interpret lab values for critical levels
- operate hemodialysis, CRRT, and SLED equipment
- monitor adult dialysis, CRRT, hemodialysis, and peritoneal dialysis
- precept new employees
- attend interdisciplinary care committee meetings
- audit equipment
- coordinate dialysis technicians and LPNs
- serve as charge nurse as needed
- consult with physicians and nursing staff.

Why this role
The job profile may require call at the department’s discretion. A valid RN license and at least one year licensed as an RN are required; two years of experience in the specified area and a BSN are preferred.
