What you'll do

• Complete surgery verification and authorization or precertification
• contact insurers, submit requests, and provide medical records
• verify patient eligibility and benefits
• schedule specialist appointments, diagnostic testing, surgery, labs, and pre- and post-operative visits
• communicate schedule changes
• confirm implants, hardware, and equipment with representatives
• follow up on authorizations
• maintain patient chart documentation and insurance status
• notify front desk and clinical staff of insurance issues
• comply with HIPAA and OSHA policies.
