The Cardiac & Vascular Ultrasound Technologist role is onsite at outpatient medical offices in Corona and Palm Springs, CA. Compensation is to be discussed based on experience and the proposed service arrangement. The opportunity is an independent-contractor engagement scheduled approximately one day per week, with the specific day and location coordinated according to patient volume and availability. Arrae Health’s outpatient offices receive diagnostic ultrasound services ordered by healthcare providers. The technologist performs cardiac and vascular studies and prepares diagnostic-quality images and documentation for physician interpretation. The work supports outpatient clinical decision-making while following patient-safety, infection-control, HIPAA, and privacy requirements.

What you'll do

• Perform echocardiograms, carotid duplex ultrasounds, and abdominal aortic aneurysm ultrasounds
• obtain diagnostic-quality images and measurements
• complete studies to accepted standards
• document each study
• prepare images for physician interpretation
• follow patient-safety, infection-control, HIPAA, and privacy requirements.

The independent contractor must provide, maintain, and transport their own ultrasound equipment and supplies. Current applicable credentials such as RDCS, RCS, RVT, or RVS and current BLS certification are requested.
