What you'll do

• Set up, adjust, and operate hydraulic and mechanical punch presses to blank, punch, and form parts
• adjust ram stroke
• work from drawings, specifications, patterns, or templates
• use precision measuring tools
• sort and package parts
• verify material quantity and quality
• move raw material as needed
• train less experienced press operators in safe setup and operation
• record transactions in the computer system
• maintain a clean work area.
