The Anti-Trafficking Youth Advocate is an onsite role in Rochester, NY. Compensation is $20–$21 per hour. The Center for Youth partners with young people to support their potential, remove barriers, and promote social justice; Safe Harbour provides case coordination and advocacy for commercially sexually exploited youth. The advocate provides intensive case management and advocacy to address immediate safety and life needs and reduce the risk of continued exploitation and abuse. The role connects youth with services and referrals, including crisis response, counseling, and community resources.

What you'll do

• Provide crisis intervention, case management, youth advocacy, and individual counseling
• conduct outreach to youth-serving agencies
• maintain client confidentiality
• provide referral readiness and referral services
• respond after hours for assessment and intake
• engage youth with services and referrals
• transport clients when required and consistent with agency policies.

Why this role
