The Dental Assistant — Tri-Cities is a full-time, onsite role in Prince George, VA. The pay range is $18–$25 per hour, based on experience, and typical hours are 8 a.m.–5 p.m. Monday through Friday. Virginia Family Dentistry has served the greater Richmond area for 50 years. The assistant supports dentists, hygienists, and clinical and administrative staff while keeping patient needs central. The role prepares operatories and appointments, assists chairside, supports infection control, and coordinates patient flow and lab work.

What you'll do

• Provide chairside assistance
• take X-rays
• stock, organize, and disinfect operatories
• sterilize instruments and follow infection-control protocols
• review schedules and prepare supplies and lab cases
• enter treatment plans
• coordinate with the front desk to keep appointments on time
• escort patients to checkout
• track lab work
• order and unpack supplies
• follow up with patients about unscheduled treatment
• assist hygienists and administrative staff as needed.
