Engineering Technician – Facilities & Maintenance

The Engineering Technician – Facilities & Maintenance position is onsite in Englewood, CO, and pays $24–$30 per hour. VPI Compounding Pharmacy is hiring to support the equipment, utilities, and facility systems that keep pharmacy operations running safely and efficiently. The technician performs preventive maintenance, basic repairs, and troubleshooting across facility and pharmacy support equipment. Accurate maintenance records and safe work practices help minimize downtime and support regulated pharmacy operations.

What you'll do

• Perform preventive maintenance and basic repairs
• troubleshoot equipment and facility issues
• support maintenance of refrigerators, freezers, pumps, autoclaves, BSCs, and LAFWs as trained
• maintain preventive maintenance schedules
• perform general facility repairs
• monitor HVAC and utility systems
• assist with equipment moves and installations
• coordinate with vendors
• track maintenance requests and records
• follow cGMP, cleanroom, safety, and facility requirements.

Why this role

The schedule is Monday–Thursday, 10:00 a.m.–6:30 p.m., and Friday, 9:00 a.m.–5:30 p.m. High school diploma or GED is required; experience in regulated environments and with HVAC, plumbing, or electrical systems is preferred or a plus.
