Recovery Care Advocate (RCA)

The Recovery Care Advocate (RCA) role is onsite at a residential addiction treatment program near Lake Tenkiller, Oklahoma; the listing location is Cookson, OK. Pay is $13–$17 per hour. Pioneer Point Recovery provides residential treatment for men working toward lasting recovery. The advocate provides day-to-day supervision, structure, support, accountability, and encouragement in the residential setting. Working alongside clinical and nursing teams, RCAs help maintain a safe, recovery-oriented environment and support client participation in treatment programming.

What you'll do

• Monitor client safety and behavior
• support participation in treatment programming
• reinforce program expectations and healthy boundaries
• document relevant observations
• assist with crisis intervention and de-escalation when needed
• help clients navigate challenges during residential treatment
• work closely with clinical and nursing teams.

Why this role

Previous experience in behavioral health, addiction treatment, residential treatment, healthcare, corrections, security, or a related field is preferred, but candidates with strong interpersonal skills and a desire to help are also valued.
