Registered Nurse — Homeless Resource Centers

What you'll do

• Support medication management and access
• guide LPNs and medical staff
• provide disease prevention and health education
• monitor communicable disease and report outbreaks
• assess guest health and coordinate referrals and follow-up
• audit documentation and medication logs
• develop medication policies and procedures
• oversee health screenings and TB testing
• provide training and supervision
• document services
• provide episodic and emergency care within scope and refer when needed.

Why this role

Florida nursing licensure and current CPR and AED certification are required. Nursing experience and experience with people experiencing homelessness are preferred; experience with individuals with a history of mental illness or substance abuse is required. May travel between shelter sites and provide coverage when needed.
