Research Assistant, Mind Sciences

The Research Assistant, Mind Sciences role is hybrid in Beaverton, OR, with Monday through Thursday onsite and Friday remote, though some Fridays may require onsite work. Compensation is $33.34–$38.46 per hour. The role supports the Sport Research Lab's Mind Sciences team in studies of perception, cognition, neurophysiology, and the athlete experience.

What you'll do

• Execute human-subject studies designed by senior researchers
• prepare study spaces and materials
• follow protocols
• welcome participants and confirm informed consent
• monitor participant comfort
• set up, calibrate, operate, and troubleshoot EEG, fNIRS, and related equipment
• collect and organize physiological, behavioral, and subjective data
• maintain accurate and confidential records
• and perform light data cleaning, processing, visualization, or quality checks under senior-researcher guidance. The posting notes potential for one or two domestic trips, though travel is unlikely.
