Expert System Architect

Job overview

The Expert System Architect position is onsite in Springfield, VA. Compensation is $140,000–$200,000 per year. The role assists the Government in designing and developing solutions aligned with Enterprise Architecture and enterprise requirements. The architect helps translate user requirements and operational needs into solution architectures for complex applications, APIs, data, platforms, cloud, and infrastructure services. The role also advises on architecture changes and coordinates the work of system architects at senior, mid, and junior levels.

What you'll do

• Assist the Government in directing system architecture design, development, maintenance, and documentation
• ensure traceability to Enterprise Architecture and enterprise requirements
• analyze user requirements, procedures, and problems to improve or automate systems
• review system capabilities, workflow, and scheduling limitations
• advise on architecture changes based on requirements and new technology
• oversee and coordinate senior-, mid-, and junior-level system architects.
