Senior Construction Manager

The Senior Construction Manager role is onsite in Raleigh, NC, supporting a client’s large-scale, ground-up commercial real estate construction project. Compensation is not specified. Turner & Townsend provides project and construction management services for clients across real estate, infrastructure, energy, and natural resources. The role leads and coordinates construction delivery from project inception through commissioning, working with the client, general contractor, architect, engineers, and other project stakeholders. It supports safe, coordinated execution while monitoring design, cost, schedule, quality, and handover activities.

What you'll do

• Coordinate construction activities with the general contractor and architect/engineer services provider
• lead the site project team under client direction
• review designs and drawings for constructability, cost, schedule, and project requirements
• support value engineering, procurement planning, baseline scheduling, and risk mitigation
• coordinate with local authorities on site development, utility tie-ins, and permitting
• review submittals and requests for information
• coordinate commissioning planning and execution
• oversee construction activities through site visits and work reviews
• attend construction status and owner/architect/contractor meetings
• report progress and schedule performance
• coordinate project reporting and documentation
• support issue tracking, punch lists, inspections, testing, and handover.
