The Entry Level Driver (CDL-A) is an onsite role based in Fort Wayne, IN. , though the role supports PFG Customized Distribution's food supply chain operations. This role exists to provide comprehensive training for individuals to gain experience in operating tractor-trailers or straight trucks for local and regional delivery routes. The driver trainee will learn to safely transport and unload food products while adhering to all company policies and Department of Transportation regulations.

What you'll do

• Attend and complete PFG Entry Level Driver Trainee or Dock to Driver Training Program
• perform pre-trip and post-trip safety inspections
• drive to and deliver customer orders according to schedule
• unload products and transport into customer storage areas
• maintain accurate delivery paperwork and logs
• perform general housekeeping in tractor and loading areas.
