The Certified Nursing Aide / Patient Care Technician Trainee role is onsite in Lexington, NC, with compensation of $19.25–$26.00 per hour based on experience. The full-time schedule is four 10-hour shifts each week starting at 5 a.m., including every other Saturday; there are no overnight shifts. Health Systems Management provides management and administrative services for dialysis facilities and supports patient care in its dialysis centers. The role trains CNAs to become Patient Care Technicians who support registered nurses in dialysis treatment. After training, the technician helps deliver and monitor treatments, document patient status, maintain safety and infection-control practices, and support patient comfort and care.

What you'll do

• Complete the paid 10-week classroom and hands-on training program
• set up hemodialysis machines
• prepare vascular access and initiate, monitor, and discontinue treatment under written policies
• obtain and document vital signs and fluid removal
• monitor patients and equipment and report concerns
• follow infection-control practices
• support patient safety, comfort, and activities of daily living
• respond appropriately to emergencies.
