Under a licensed pharmacist’s supervision, the technician supports prescription preparation and dispensing, billing, patient service, and pharmacy inventory. The role also maintains records and assists with administrative and regulatory compliance to support efficient pharmacy operations.

What you'll do

• Assist the pharmacist with prescription preparation and dispensing
• enter patient and prescription information
• bill and collect payments
• prepare pharmaceutical products and perform medication counts
• maintain inventory and supplies
• receive and store supplies
• maintain clean work areas
• operate a cash register
• file invoices and copy prescriptions
• and assist with pharmacy compliance, data collection, audits, and surveys.
