Medical Assistant I

The Medical Assistant I role is onsite in Silver Spring, MD, with compensation of $21–$24 per hour. The position supports pediatric and adult patients and the clinical team at Community Clinic Inc. What you'll do

• Greet patients and family members
• screen patients and document chart information
• escort and prepare patients for examinations
• perform routine screening tests and record vital signs
• assist with medical procedures
• perform phlebotomy, EKGs, and lab specimen collection
• educate patients and families about visits and procedures
• provide discharge and follow-up instructions
• make outreach calls as requested
• check provider electronic outboxes and address urgent issues
• enter EHR data
• follow safety and infection-control protocols.

Why this role
