What you'll do

• Serve as licensed Special Inspector of Threshold Buildings
• review structural drawings, specifications, submittals, RFI responses, and inspection plans
• conduct periodic site visits
• oversee and assess SIAR qualifications
• review inspection reports and track structural discrepancies through resolution
• prepare, review, sign, and seal inspection reports and certifications
• coordinate with structural engineers of record, contractors, owners, architects, engineers, and building officials
• participate in project meetings
• provide technical guidance on structural systems
• assist with proposals, scopes, budgets, client coordination, and business development
• mentor inspectors and engineering staff.

Why this role

Requires a current Florida Professional Engineer (PE) license and a bachelor’s degree in civil, structural, or related engineering. Florida Special Inspector of Threshold Buildings certification is highly preferred; 8+ years of relevant experience is preferred.
