The Hospice Registered Nurse (RN) / Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) role is onsite in Murrysville, PA, with part-time, full-time, and PRN options and all shifts available. Compensation is $56,000–$80,000 per year. Care Comfort Hospice provides hospice care to patients and families. The nurse coordinates and provides hands-on hospice care, including symptom management, patient and family education, and care-plan updates. The role works with the Nurse Case Manager, Director of Nursing, and interdisciplinary team to coordinate services and support comfort and quality of life.

What you'll do

• Provide hands-on clinical nursing
• assess and coordinate pain and symptom management with patients, families, physicians, and the interdisciplinary team
• support patient choice and relief of suffering
• educate and support families
• participate in team meetings and update plans of care
• coordinate referrals and services, medications, and durable medical equipment
• report changes in patient condition
• participate in continuous quality improvement activities
• follow the scheduled on-call protocol and respond to pages within 20 minutes.
