The Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) role is onsite in Manassas, VA, with a part-time regular schedule from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. and every other weekend. Pay is $22 per hour. Birmingham Green provides nursing home and assisted living care for senior residents, with a focus on whole-person well-being. This role supports residents’ daily care and comfort by assisting with personal needs, monitoring and recording vital signs and intake and output, and helping with mobility, meals, and a clean environment. The CNA documents care and works with healthcare providers and interdisciplinary team members to support resident well-being and fall prevention.

What you'll do

• Assist residents with bathing, dressing, grooming, ambulation, meals, and transportation
• take and record vital signs and intake and output
• document care and maintain medical records
• change bed linens
• support fall prevention and a restraint-free environment
• collaborate with healthcare providers and interdisciplinary team members
• participate in surveys, inspections, in-service classes, and staff meetings
• complete forms and reports
• provide post-mortem care as needed.

Why this role

Every other weekend; active Virginia CNA license and current Adult CPR and First Aid certification required. At least six months of long-term care experience is preferred.
