Residential Support Specialist — Second and First Shifts

The Residential Support Specialist role is onsite at community residential program locations in Longmeadow, MA and other locations as staffing needs require. Pay is $19–$21 per hour. The Integration & Community Living program supports people with intellectual and developmental disabilities or autism in living meaningfully in their communities. The open schedule is Sunday, Monday, and Friday from 3 p.m. to 11 p.m., and Saturday from 9 a.m. to 11 p.m. (38 hours). The role provides person-centered daily living and personal care support while promoting participants’ dignity, choice, independence, and community engagement. It also contributes to individualized service planning, health and safety, and coordination with families, providers, and community supports.

What you'll do

• Support daily living, personal care, and skill development
• facilitate transportation and community activities
• assist with medication administration under MAP standards, appointments, and wellbeing monitoring
• document service plans and participant progress
• respond to emergencies under agency protocols
• communicate with families, providers, and community supports.

Why this role
