The Senior Accountant role is onsite in Basking Ridge, NJ, and pays $95,000–$110,000 per year. The role reports to the Director of Finance and supports FellowshipLIFE’s Life Plan Communities and affiliated businesses across New Jersey. The role oversees accounting and budget activities for assigned communities, supports financial reporting and close processes, and provides technical guidance to accounting colleagues. Its work helps operational leaders understand results and strengthens financial processes, controls, and reporting.

What you'll do

• Oversee accounting and budget activities for assigned communities
• review profit-and-loss statements, balance sheets, reconciliations, and supporting schedules
• guide, review, and mentor one to two accounting team members
• manage accounting for resident revenue, entrance fees, deferred revenue, healthcare revenue, and ancillary services
• prepare financial analysis and management reporting
• support monthly, quarterly, and year-end close
• partner with operational leaders
• support budgeting, forecasting, audits, and regulatory reporting
• improve processes, controls, documentation, and efficiency
• participate in special projects and strategic initiatives.
