Home Care Aide

Job overview

The Home Care Aide role is onsite in clients’ homes in Lindenhurst, NY. Pay is $20–$22 per hour. Angel Care Home Companion Services provides one-on-one care in patient homes. The aide supports patients with daily activities and personal care, helps maintain a healthy home environment, and records and reports observations to a supervisor. The role also provides companionship and activities that support patients’ well-being and alertness.

What you'll do

• Assist patients with transfers and mobility
• change bed linens, do laundry, clean the home, and assist with personal care
• maintain care records and report observations to a supervisor
• provide companionship
• give medications and immunizations
• engage patients in exercises or other activities.
