Aquatics Instructor

The Aquatics Instructor role is an onsite, part-time position in Fort Collins, CO, with varied class hours offered throughout the day, seven days per week. Pay is $20–$35 per hour. The instructor supports Genesis Health Clubs’ Group Exercise Department and its commitment to members’ health and fitness. The instructor leads safe, effective aquatics classes and helps create an inclusive member experience. The role also promotes classes, supports member participation, maintains equipment, communicates with staff, and pursues continuing education to improve class quality.

What you'll do

• Lead members through safe and effective aquatics classes
• promote the Group Exercise Program and classes
• help grow aquatics classes and meet class-average targets
• create an inclusive environment
• arrive early to set up equipment and assist new participants
• put away equipment after class
• communicate with staff
• find a substitute when unable to teach
• attend scheduled department meetings and reviews.

Why this role
