What you'll do

• Apply and remove casts, splints, braces, and other immobilization devices per provider instructions
• assist with in-office procedures
• prepare and restock exam and procedure rooms and sterilize supplies
• educate patients on cast and splint care and activity restrictions
• fit and adjust durable medical equipment
• obtain vitals and injury history as needed
• document care in the electronic medical record
• monitor for complications and promptly notify providers
• follow infection-control, OSHA, and HIPAA guidelines.

Why this role
